Second stop was at the office of the Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government of Lagos
Mr JJ Akanji introduced the team and appreciated the Chairman for seeing us despite his Scheduled.
Ms Geraldine appreciated the Chairman for his support towards development of grassroots Sports. She Also assured him that 1xBet as a brand will continue to invest in the growth and development of Nigerians at all levels. She however reinstate that the support of the government is also needed to make sure that we all acheive this goal.
Mr Dimeji Adedapo appreciated the chairman and informed him of how 1xCup has impacted the lives of the youth from those participating in the previous years. He also assured that we hope this year we can acheive more success and the competition will make more impact.
The chairman in his response appreciated 1xBet and the 1xCup orgarnising committee for how they are impacting and engaging the youths. he said he has known about the competition since it started, he also stated that Sports is a major key in the way his administration engages and relates with the youth of Agege Local Government, he also stated that he has been a lover of sport even before becoming the chairman and since he came on board his government have been so invested in sports development in the local government Area and Lagos at large. He is part of the Obasa Cup initiatiative and also the chairman of the just inaugurated Lagos state mini competition that will come up later this year. He is also the chairman of Vinod fc and hoped they will be able to compete in this year 1xCup as they were unable to make it last year. He pledged his support and confirmed he will be available on the final day and any other day we invite him to come and kick the ball The trophy and gift box was handed to him as well as a signed football personally presented by Alhaji Waheed Akanni
